Our resilience through pandemic, distance, and doubt—we’ve built a life together, got engaged at 21, and we’re just getting started.
We would like to thank you for supporting The Future Mr. And Mrs. Larson in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
We met at a high school football game in 2017, both die-hard Notre Dame fans. We became close friends, and at our Homecoming Dance in 2019, I finally told her how I felt—she said, “I have to ask my mom.” Two weeks later, we had our first date on October 27th. Since then, we’ve grown up together, braved long distance and life changes, and just got engaged this past December.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? Our favorite memory is the night we got engaged. I proposed at a quiet gazeboand completely surprised her. After everything we’d overcome, that moment felt like coming home. We celebrated with dinner alongside our parents, the people who had supported us from the very beginning. It was simple, heartfelt, and perfectly us.
What would you do with $20,000?We’re saving to buy a home in California, where we can build our future and stay close to our families. I’m pursuing a career in film, and Maddie works in weddings and events—California lets us chase our dreams while planting roots near the people we love. This money would help with a down payment and bring us one step closer to the life we’ve worked so hard to build.
