Connect How did your love story begin?

We started off as coworkers in college both working as resident assistants in the dorms. We kept our relationship a secret for as long as we could because it was frowned upon to date other staff members. Except we were horrible at hiding it because we were inseparable. One day we’re told our boss already knows so we just went ahead and confessed that we were dating and it wouldn’t affect our work. We spent the rest of college together and graduated early as well. Ready for the future together!

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

One of my favorite memories is when we first went to Mackinac Island together. We spent the whole day biking and trying great food. Mark showed me around the whole island and it was so beautiful. This was the first time we had really “traveled” together although it was a short road trip. This ignited our love for traveling together as well. I have gotten to take Mark to meet my family in Mexico and visit beaches as well. Now Mark is learning spanish to assimilate a little to my family.

What would you do with $20,000?

Our dream right now is to become home owners. We have worked so hard to pay for our wedding and it has not been easy. The wedding and honeymoon coming this October is so exciting but having a home to call our own would completely change our lives. We are ready for this next cheaper but financially need a miracle.
