Getting married this year—6 years of friendship sparked a love story written in music, lived on stage, and grounded in unshakable devotion.
We would like to thank you for supporting The Future Arenas in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
We met online over 8 years ago, but timing wasn’t on our side. Still, we kept finding each other—matching on apps, reconnecting across distance and life changes. After 6 years of friendship and endless conversations, we finally met in person. The nerves were gone, the bond already built. It wasn’t just a first date—it was falling in love with our best friend, the one we’d unknowingly been choosing all along.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? One of our most unforgettable memories was performing together for the first time on stage earlier this year at a Valentine’s cabaret. Sharing a passionate duet, filled with intensity and connection, was electric—but the real magic was in creating it together. Rehearsing, laughing, perfecting every moment—and then delivering that powerful song in front of friends, family, and even strangers—was an experience we’ll treasure forever.
What would you do with $20,000?We’re getting married this year and covering all expenses ourselves. Unfortunately, we had to step in to protect Theresa’s mother’s home during a difficult divorce. That support was necessary, but it was a significant strain. . A $20K gift would truly be a blessing for two people who very rarely ask for much.
