Sammy and I were born on the exact same day so we decided to marry on that day at the train station where we first met and was on the news!
You decide who wins $20,000 and appears in Variety magazine as America’s Favorite Couple
In 2017 We met on JDate, Sammy in Baltimore and me here in So Florida. I was NOT interested in a long distance relationship but then we realized that we were born on the very same day. Three weeks later , after being in contact every moment we could (when not working or parenting ) Sam flew to Florida and took the train to me. We both knew at that moment at the train station that our lives had just changed forever. 3 years later we had a traditional Jewish wedding at that very train station!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? When covid arrived in 2020 it stole our original wedding plans. Never ones to see the hard side of things, we recreated an appropriately weird wedding on our shared birthday at the train station where we first met in person. The TriRail execs were in love with the idea and we had a lovely Rabbi do a traditional Jewsish wedding, It was on the out door platform so we had guests who wore masks and unbeknownst to ANY of us, would end up on TWO local news shows that night!
What would you do with $20,000?That’s easy!!!!! We would invest in something to get us closer to being able to retire and have fun together and possibly buy a super cool fixer upper traveling van/camper to have fun rehabbing and eventually exploring the country in! Sammy is so handy and I will handle the creative end!
