How did your love story begin?

We met as first-grade teachers—just friends and teaching partners at first. We bonded over lesson plans, classroom chaos, and a shared passion for helping kids. Trever, a 6’10” gentle giant with the biggest heart, brought calm, kindness, and endless laughter into my life. Our friendship quickly grew into something deeper. What started in the classroom turned into a love story full of purpose, partnership, and a whole lot of heart.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

It’s hard to pick just one memory—from telling our students we were engaged, to weekends filled with musicals, sports, and Mario Kart battles. We've coached high school teams, cheered each other on, and made even grocery shopping fun. But recently, walking down the aisle and celebrating the most magical hometown wedding surrounded by our people—that moment captured everything we love about our journey together.

What would you do with $20,000?

We’d use the $20,000 to contribute to our new home, turning it into a space filled with love, laughter, and memories. We’d build a savings account to support the future family we dream of. Most importantly, we’d give back to the community that raised us—investing in local youth programs. With passions for soccer and theater, we’d help create more opportunities for kids to play, perform, and grow in a place we’re proud to call home.
