Have you ever had hotpot? You’re given a broth, but selecting the items that go into your pot—and managing cooking your bite-sized delicacies—is left up to you. Hotpot is a good analogy for life in many ways because you can make something delicious almost any which way you mix the ingredients provided to you. And that’s what we did. We met each other working at a hotpot restaurant, and we’re happy with the ingredients life has thrown our way.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?It’s difficult to agree on any one memory. In a weird twist, maybe our favorite shared memory is the time we got to spend together during the height of the pandemic in 2020. The fact that we were able to persevere through a tough year together—mainly by playing board games, bingeing shows we’ve never seen together, and just.. being there for each other helped solidify our relationship.
What would you do with $20,000?We would spend a majority of the $20k establishing our dream business that combines our interests in books, community, and personal well-being. If there were any funds leftover, we might consider traveling, and we would definitely spend some spoiling our sweet dogs, Ellie and Willow and any other potential new arrivals 👀🤰🏼
