How did your love story begin?

My husband and I met when I was 8 in elementary school and told me I'd be his wife. That was in 1977. Fast forward 2016, fate brought us together after his mom passed. He had no one there with him and I reached out to him. His mom loved me at 8 also. Found out he was in Minnesota so I drove 11 hours to check on him & we began dating immediately & got married in 2018. We attended middle school and high school but never dated. He still had the gleam in his eyes whenever he saw me.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

My favorite memory with my husband isn't one thing. It's all things. It's experiencing a lot of first s together like buying our home. Going on our 1st trip. It's watching him riding the ferris wheel the 1st time with me. My husband often recites his vows to me like he did on our wedding day at random times like at the park. Another favorite is when I wrote him a song that I recorded for our anniversary. My husband has experienced a lot of pain so just watching him grow fills up my heart.

What would you do with $20,000?

We just purchased our first home so we would get some things we need for our new home as well as take care of some bills. I would also love to take him somewhere as we never had a honeymoon. He deserves that. His entire immediate family is deceased so I want to do something great for him.
