We’ve had a life full of laughter since day one. Every bump in the road, we faced with joy because we knew we had each other.

We matched on Tinder while living in Alfred, NY; a small college town. He had just graduated and was preparing to move to Texas for his PhD but was planning to stay for the summer. We took every chance we could to see each other and make the most of it before he left for Texas. The day he was supposed to go to orientation at University of Houston, he got the job he was hoping for and stayed in Alfred. And the rest is history. We married in October 2020!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?The day he immigrated to the U.S. was on my birthday, so each year when we celebrate my birthday we also celebrate his anniversary of coming here! We've travelled, gone to concerts, it's always a special day for the both of us.
What would you do with $20,000?We never got to have a proper wedding during COVID and where he is from, weddings are a BIG DEAL! We are very happy to have a happy marriage full of laughter each and every day, but we often wish that we could have made that day a little more special by celebrating with all the people in our lives.
