How did your love story begin?

We actually met in 2009 when my cousin, Christina, got married. My cousins, Christina and her sister Stephanie, have know my husband, Rome, since they were kids. Stephanie and Rome went to elementary school together and have remained friends... We were paired up together as part of her bridal party! We didn't know each other at all but we hit it off and the rest is history!

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Our wedding day has been the most memorable for us. We headed down to the courthouse on October 30th, 2024, which is also my fathers birthday. We tragically & unexpectedly lost my dad in 2023, so it only felt right to get married on his birthday. It was such an emotional day, but also so beautiful. We were surrounded by our immediate families and our closest friends who have loved and supported us throughout our 15 years together. We had an AMAZING day, it could not have turned out any better!

What would you do with $20,000?

Wow, the things we could do! Our knee jerk reaction would be to pour into our home and continue improvements, but since we didn't have a wedding or honeymoon, we'd love to travel! We can give ourselves a nice, and much deserved, honeymoon. We both work hard, but my husband works tirelessly to make sure his family is taken care of. This would be amazing for us, but more so for him as he is SOOO deserving.
