After I left a very abusive relationship, I started working at a restaurant 2 weeks after he quit. Someone thought we were soulmates so they introduced us, and when we met, we casually talked about a dumb adult cartoon movie. We got together for a movie 2 nights later, and never looked back. We have been inseparable ever since. Our first baby was a little white and blonde Cockerspanial puppy. Then we moved on to having 3 amazing sons. We are best of friends. We do our best, and love hard.

Each milestone of our life together has become a favorite memory to me. When we met, when we got engaged, when we got married, when each boy was born, and so many more. The day we got engaged was Christmas eve 2008. He bought the ring and had his brother hide it in his closet. We worked together and everyone at work knew what was coming except me. Christmas morning, just him and me, he gave me a jewelry box. Inside was an open box with an engagement ring. Of course I said yes!

If we win the $20,000, we would put the money towards or dream of buying some property and building our dream home to settle down in and have a farm for our grandchildren and children to come to for every reason any of them can think of. We plan to grow fruits and veggies. I will have all sorts of animals. We plan to of course have fun things to do, and cute little cabins or maybe just trailers for them to stay in when they visit. Our home is and has always been a safe space. It always will be.
