Distracted, questioning my decision to leave an ICU I had worked at for 11 years, I walked into the conference center for orientation at a new hospital. I was greeted by the mgr. and asked which unit I worked for. I said I was a new hire for ICU resource pool. “He stated “Welcome! I am also ICU resource” and made his way towards me. The moment I looked in his eyes, I knew. He said the moment he saw me at the top of the stairs, he knew.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?We learned how to be co-workers, friends, lovers and everything in between. We worked 24/7 together during Covid in ICU. The tragedy of those years was absolutely heartbreaking. We have worked ER, Trauma, Burn and Cardiac ICU’s together. We go home and enjoy each other’s company and we laugh, and share and grow. I have heard this kind of love existed, I just never thought I would get to experience it. We have been through some very hard things together, and come out stronger, together.
What would you do with $20,000?We have been together for 12 amazing years, and finally got married 12/25/24 in front of the Christmas tree with our families. My husband is retiring this coming December and 20,000 would help us in buying our dream home in Montana to live happily ever after, together ❤️
