You decide who wins $20,000 and appears in Variety magazine as America’s Favorite Couple
In Jr. high I noticed her. After several weeks of basically stalking her, I worked up the nerve to talk to her and she slammed her locker in my face and walked away. I didn’t feel like being rejected again so I moved on. In high school, we were in choir together. After we got our school pictures, she gave me one of hers and signed it; “To the best bass I know.” That’s when we started dating.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? Her family moved away before Senior year started. We tried the long distance thing and that didn’t work. I joined the military and she went to college. We moved on and both got married. She lived in Maryland, I lived in Arkansas. We reconnected after she started divorce papers with her X. I was unhappy in my marriage so felt empowered to start divorce proceedings with my X. A few weeks later, I went to visit my (current) wife. Found a job in Maryland and moved in with her. The rest is history.
What would you do with $20,000?Well… we just had our second son graduate high school and in the 21 years we have been married, we have not had a proper honeymoon or a vacation. After paying some bills I would probably plan a trip to Ireland. We have always wanted to go! BTW. She doesn’t know I entered us!😉
