We met at the gym! I was 27 & he was 38, but I thought he was in his late 40’s and he thought I was maybe 20. We started by working out together, then realized we loved all the same things. It was pretty instant for me, but it took him more time. It’s been 17 years and we are still working out together!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?It’s hard to choose from 17 years, 4 children, travels all around the world…but our favorite each year is Christmas Eve. The kids get into bed, and we wrap Santa’s presents, watch It’s A Wonderful Life, and admire our tree. We didn’t come from much so providing a different life for our kids feels really magical.
What would you do with $20,000?My mom has a lot of health complications and we are about to become her caretakers. Our home isn’t accessible for her so we need to make renovations for her. It’s scary and not what we expected, but the money would help us make sure she is safe & comfortable.
