How did your love story begin?

Two sailors. Two uniforms. One unexpected spark. I met him in Lemoore, CA—his height made him hard to miss. He saw me out of uniform once and never looked away.Late-night laughs turned into love during a 9-month deployment. We crossed oceans and grew closer with every mile. Years later, he proposed on a rooftop, my family holding signs. Duty brought us together. Love made us unstoppable.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

We rented a moped in Nicaragua knowing good and well we couldn’t drive it. First ride? Straight into a sewer. Locals dragged us out, sprayed us off, and we still hopped back on—only to crash again minutes later. Soaked, quiet, defeated—and somehow still laughing. That day was a disaster, but it’s my favorite memory. Because it’s us: chaotic, brave, and always willing to try again.

What would you do with $20,000?

With $20K, we’d pay off what’s holding us back and elevate the life we’re building—upgrade our RV, create more freedom, and say yes to seeing more of the world together. But most of all, we’d give back. Whether it’s helping a family in need or sowing into someone else’s fresh start, we’d make sure this win reaches beyond us.
