Connect How did your love story begin?

The fateful Northstar Cafe in SF, 2015. Definitely not a cafe, but a bar where the Italians liked to hang. I was with a galpal & my bf. One Italiano came to hit on her. Another came to tell him it was his turn to play pool in that most sexy Italian accent. He gave a friendly nod to my bf, extended his hand to me, eyes locked, time slowed, Disney birds sang, fireworks exploded. Then he ignored me the rest of the night. What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

We got married in city hall with only my family- his never been able to make it to America, threw us a SURPRISE wedding in his backyard overlooking Mt. Vesuivio. Even handmade my dress! The traditions, food, music, dancing all night…a dream, a movie scene! Went fishing, swam in the sea until 2 am, foraged funghi in the mountains. Three months we lived with his family where I learned to be a true Italian wife cooking, cleaning, and even how to crush tomatoes for the year’s supply of tomato sauce.

What would you do with $20,000?

After a decade our families have only ever met on FaceTime. We both live a double life that neither side has experienced. Love to make that happen. Some money will go to our Italian Private Dinners business we’ve started, @cibodamore. Right now we are servers at Busalacchi restaurants in SD. We bought our first home in April, and on the second day after moving in found out we’re preggers with our first baby… like uh-ohhh!! So in reality, the money will most likely all go to help with that :)
