It wasn’t the most romantic start — I was bartending, and he used to pick up his friend who worked with me. I asked that friend if he was single, and he passed along my number. One day, he called… and the rest is history.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?It’s hard to pick just one favorite memory, but some stand out. Our wedding and honeymoon were amazing. My husband adopting my son was a beautiful moment, as were the births of our daughters. I earned a family trip to Riviera Maya, opened my own gym in 2021, and watched two of our kids graduate. Taking them to college was emotional and unforgettable.
What would you do with $20,000?I'd love to say I’d use the money to pay off debt — and maybe a more responsible version of me would. But honestly, I’d take my parents and family on a trip to Italy. We lost my brother to suicide in 2023, and we never got the chance to take that trip together. I was recently diagnosed with cancer, which has only reinforced something I already knew deep down: life doesn’t wait. I want to experience as much of it as I can with the people I love.
