We met working on a yacht (think Below Deck). He was a Deckhand, I was a Stewardess. We were both out of long relationships, and weren’t looking to start a new one, but fate had other plans. I told him that I don’t dip my pen in the company ink, and he replied that he didn’t realize that I had a pen (I don’t). But this set the stage for a friendship built on shared values and a deep respect for each other.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?After working on the yacht, we decided to travel the world and see if our relationship could weather the storm of international travel. We left for SE Asia and encountered countless adventures, experiences, and setbacks. Despite the challenges, we stuck by each other, and fell in love along the way. When you can’t speak the language, away from your comfort zone, true personalities emerge. We knew if we could survive and thrive for 8 months in 3rd world countries, we were meant to be together. 💕
What would you do with $20,000?We would return to SE Asia with our children and re-experience our adventures through their perspective. Being able to share where we fell in love with the results of that love would be a tremendous gift. Our kids have heard the stories and seen the pictures, but experiencing it firsthand would be epic!
