I was her college RA. On move in day, her father gave the housing team lemon cake from her great grandma. I took a slice and after the day was done I went to her room and thank her family for the cake. She turned to her mother and said, “He’s cute!” right after I left. Fast forward to the end of the first week of school, we both found ourselves waiting for tinder dates in the lobby. So, we started talking. Our dates cancelled, but we kept talking. We became a couple exactly 1 week later.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Moving from KS to GA was the hardest thing we have ever done as a couple. From having to toss everything we owned in a horse trailer, to only having enough money to split a turkey and cheddar lunchable. We bounced from hotel to air bnb with our dog and cat, burning through our nest egg for an apartment. After 2 weeks of searching we finally found a place that would let us move in middle of the month. Standing in the empty living room is a memory that keeps us going even after our worst moments!
What would you do with $20,000?We have been saving for a home for over a year! This prize money would go directly to that fund!!
