Connect How did your love story begin?

Our love story began at a bus stop in high school. After a month, I asked her out, and I knew she was my soulmate. 34 years later, we’re still in love. Many people ask about how we fell in love, and we tell them the story on how I proposed.they couldn't believe I asked her to give me an answer in 24 hours once I received my answer, I knew it was time for me as a young man to become more discipline and understanding as a Husband.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

One of our favorite memories as a couple is the profound joy we felt while helping couples and families in need. Witnessing the positive impact of our efforts has been truly heartwarming. It’s a beautiful reminder that life is not solely about ourselves; it’s about being selfless and giving back to others. When those families approach us with heartfelt gratitude, saying thank you for what we’ve done, it fills our hearts with warmth and fulfillment. This appreciation is our greatest reward.

We, the Coopers, are excited to share our vision for a family resource center in our community! Winning the $20,000 would help us create a welcoming space dedicated to supporting families with essential resources in Mental Health, Financial Literacy, and Housing. In these challenging times, these services are vital, and we are committed to uplifting our community.
