Connect How did your love story begin?

We met in the 3rd grade. I had a huge crush on him but y’know being 8 and all he couldn’t commit to anything long-term. Then 7th grade he became interested in me but I had made my first ever best friend at the time so I had no time for other connections. We were passing ships for sure. Then the incredible happened. Because of laziness on his part and poor performance on my part we both had to take Spanish 2 in the 11th grade. The teacher sat me in front of him. I asked him to help me in class!

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

My favorite memories are being made right now with him. We are welcoming our first baby in August and we couldn’t be more excited. He has been so caring and helpful throughout the pregnancy. He even picked up chores he hated doing before with a smile just to make sure I’m comfortable and able to rest. Our first time hearing the baby’s heart beat was a huge moment and seeing the ultrasound, I’ll never forget it. We are so excited to meet him!

What would you do with $20,000?

We would put a down payment on a house. Our old apartment burned down a little less than a year ago and so we got to get a new apartment that’s 2 bedrooms which has been such a blessing but the rent is going to spike up $$$ at our year mark (August, the same time the baby comes). We won’t be able the save nearly as quickly once that happens and with the baby I don’t know how long it will take for us to be able to afford a down payment for a house at this point. So $20,000 would be life changing!
