We met on a blind date set up by mutual friends. It was not love at first sight. We refused to be together. Yet every turn, there we were together. So we decided to at least get to know each other. To our surprise, we had a lot in common! Six months later we were married. Family and friends thought we wouldn't last, that it was insane! We proved them wrong. We built a life together, raised 3 beautiful, successful children. And we are now enjoying the life as grandparents.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Celebrating our anniversary has always been special. When our kids were young, we celebrated as a family and went camping. Bob and I always thought the date was meaningful because of what we created, our family. That was the most important to us and always will be.
What would you do with $20,000?Maybe pay a debt down or pay off our mortgage. It would also be nice to treat ourselves to a nice weekend getaway. Though we still do a yearly family camping trip, it would be nice to plan for something a little different for the whole family to enjoy!
