Our love story began when we were in diapers. David and I have been together since I was in eighth grade and he was in ninth. But we knew each other when we were younger than that. I actually was trying to get my best friend and his cousin together, but God wanted David and I to be together instead. We went to a haunted house together for our first date and I knew then that I wanted to be with him forever.

Picking one memory throughout the 15 years is tricky. But here is one I tell a lot. It is when David got offered a job at his current job. I was pregnant with my first and we were both only 22 years old. At first, David denied the job because change was scary. When he got home to tell me he denied the job. I told him to call the man who offered him the job and take it. That’s one of my favorite memories because David’s boss loves telling him that I am the reason he has that job.

Oh my, $20,000 would do so much. We are extremely blessed. But of course there is a bunch of stuff that we have put on the back burner. David and I had a Covid wedding so we never got to go on a honeymoon. I am not one to leave my children to go on a vacation, so all of our vacations have been centered around our two children, which haven’t been a lot. We would love to go on a honeymoon we never got to but knowing myself, I would honestly bring my children with. Thank you 😊
