Connect How did your love story begin?

Me and my husband were neighbors as children. I always thought he was the cutest boy in the neighborhood and he used to come by almost every day after school to ask if me and my sister wanted to play basketball with him. I remember running around with all our friends and him until it got dark and our parents called us back inside. I moved away but kept in contact with him through email. When I finally moved back in 2020, I still found him to be the most handsome man and decided to shoot my shot.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

When we started dating, we lived 30 min away from each other. The day before my birthday I was at home and he called me when he got off of work so we could talk like we usually did. It was getting late and at 12:00am on the dot, he said "Hey can you come outside?" I shot up out of bed and looked outside where he was parked in my driveway. I ran out and he opened his window and handed me gifts and said "I just wanted to be the first person to say Happy Birthday mi amor".

What would you do with $20,000?

I would use it to pay for my school to take off some load from my husband who is supporting me through my dream university. He is the reason why Im in school at all and any help to return the favor would be immense. He sold his dream car and moved from a wonderful job just so that I wouldn't be alone at my new apartment. I couldn't have done any of this without him and I want to do anything I can to repay him for all his effort.
