We met volunteering as characters for a cosplay charity group. We both shared a passion for giving back to the community and enjoy our hobby while doing it. It’s something we continue to do together both for charity and for fun. I knew the moment I saw him there was something special about him, luckily he felt the same and we’ve been together ever since.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?We were married in 2020 at the height of Covid so we couldn’t have a real wedding. Years later we went on a Disney cruise and renewed our vows on the ship. It was a dream come true walking down those stairs and seeing him waiting for me. The love I felt in his eyes and still see every day, I’d marry him all over again if I could. Of course we did it in costume too!
What would you do with $20,000?We enjoy giving back to the community so I would find a way to use it to support that effort. We have been a part of many charity groups over the years in different capacities and I’d like to find a way to use the money to help continue to work with children in need and bring them joy in otherwise difficult situations. Together we have 5 children (all grown) but I remember how much it meant to be on the receiving end when they were younger which is why we try to give back now.
