It WAS A SETUP! But I(Jaz) didn’t know until a few months into the relationship. Met at a party hosted by mutual friends and I immediately noticed Michael. He left early and got “yelled” at for not staying longer to talk with me. I got invited out to his birthday a few weeks later and he didn’t know I would be there. We bonded over our love of snakes and baseball. He got my number and the next day I was the only one he texted. He asked me out to our opposing teams Padres(M)/Dodgers(Jaz) game.

We have so many favorite memories it’s so hard to pick just one! I’m a cosplayer and I love that Michael will dress up with me. We went to ALA in January and we cosplayed as the Wild Wild Pussycats from My Hero Academia(his choice) and Aphrodite and Hephaestus from Lore Olympus(my choice). He said one of his favorite memories is when we explored the air and space museum together, our first date, the first time we said I love you, our vacation we took last year, and of course when he proposed.

We are planning a wedding! We want to have a small party the day before at our house in the backyard and we would use it to upgrade our backyard. We could also use it to fix our roof. We had a small leak during the last rainy season. Our house is 100 years old so there’s a bunch of small house issues we’d love to fix. And maybe if anythings left probably use it for some other wedding things we otherwise couldn’t afford, like a videographer.
