Tinder, no romantic opening line, and after two weeks of bothering her, she agreed to a 1PM Tues date. Lunch, turned into bowling, then a movie, and dinner. She challenged me, she was smart and funny and beautiful. I recognized immediately she was different. After 8 hours, I returned to the barracks where my fellow Marines asked where I'd been. "Guys, I messed up... I met the woman I'm going to marry."
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?I was deployed to Guantanamo Bay as Marine Corps Security Forces and they piloted a program where married Marines wife could visit for a week. Luckily, my wife was allowed to come and spend a week on vacation in the Caribbean, visiting beaches, exploring the island, and at the same time being able to show my love what my life was like when I was away.
What would you do with $20,000?We would put it into our home. She has made our house a home. She always wants people to feel welcomed when they visit. She is always hosting and taking care of people and I want to give her money towards her dream outdoor space for her to invite everyone to be together. Community is super important to both of us.
