What started out as a simple cup of coffee at a Wawa store turned into hours of conversation and then nothing. Wanting to focus on ministry, Kelly cut all communication for 3 years; however, Nivens never gave up. Every 3 to 6 months, Nivens would send a simple text, “praying for you”. Then one day after COVID hit, Kelly reached out for a lunch date. Almost a year to the date, they were married, and realized our only regret is that we didn’t connect sooner.
