Our love story began in August 2012 at a local community college. We were in the same introductory graphic communications class and paired in a two person “get to know your classmate” group. In what seemed like an instantaneous flame, we fell in love, married in December 2015, and have been together since working through every challenge life has thrown our way.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?My favorite memory we’ve shared as a couple was purchasing our first home in June 2021, a year after my husband was permanently medically retired from the US Air Force. Although we have made large purchases such as vehicles, our first home was the substantially a “we really did this” move.
What would you do with $20,000?As “cat parents” to six, all of whom were adopted from high euthanasia animal shelters, we would first donate to those animal shelters to fund their foster to adopt programs. With remaining funds, we would pay the remainder of my dad’s mortgage and plan for a much needed vacation.
