So… it depends who you ask! We met on his first day at work and bonded over volleyball. I tried to convince him to coach a team I didn’t want to coach. Then, being friendly, I invited him to a beer festival. He calls it our first date—I say I was just being nice. We tell the story differently, but either way, we’ve been inseparable ever since. Turns out, he was right all along—he’s my perfect partner in every adventure!

We’ve had so many amazing adventures—pandemics, power outages, epic cross-country road trips, you name it. But our favorite? Our wedding! On October 5th, 2024, we finally brought our families together for the first time. Living 12-15 hours away made it extra special. Watching everyone dance the night away, laughing and bonding, was pure magic. Honestly, it was the best day ever—we couldn’t have asked for more!

Paul and I skipped a honeymoon—blame it on buying a house and tying the knot all in one crazy year! We’re still saving up, hoping to take that dream trip someday soon. Last year was a whirlwind: wedding, new home, and me finishing my master’s! No vacations yet, but we’ve been hustling hard. This would help with bills and finally get us that much-needed getaway. Here’s to a future honeymoon worth the wait!
