We have been best friends since 9th grade and almost 14 years later, we still are.

We met in our freshman year of high school during our first period AFJROTC class. Instantly, we knew we would be together forever. Through the highest highs and lowest lows we were always there for each other. Movies and bowling consumed our nights. After high school we lost touch for a couple years when Kevin joined the Navy. One random day and one random text later we were back together and unstoppable (even through a 6 month deployment and living on opposite sides of the country).
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?My favorite memory isn’t exciting but it was one of the best nights we’ve ever had. The first night Kevin got home from his deployment he flew across the country and showed up at my door. We watched Thor Love and Thunder and just sat on the couch talking like we always had. It’s my favorite because even after distance and many years apart, nothing had changed from those two kids in high school.
What would you do with $20,000?If we had $20,000 we would pay off what’s left of our school debt and save everything we could so we can move home to our families when Kevin is finished with his naval contract. Living so far away from everyone we know and love has been so hard and it would be a good head start for us so we could finally go home again.
