Connect How did your love story begin?

We met at our church through some mutual friends and hung out as friends with that group all the time, one night after we all went out we were driving back to our friend’s place and ended up sitting in the car for over an hour just talking about everything, our past, dreams, and what we desire for our futures. After having this conversation, we were pretty much hooked on each other, but we took our time before dating to make sure we set the standard of a healthy, God centered relationship.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Most would say our wedding, but truly it was the honeymoon! Jessica actually had gotten an injury in her ankle the day before we set out for our little cabin trip so we had to cancel all the plans that required us to be active, this ended up being the biggest blessing in disguise though. Instead of rushing to fill our time with everything we had on our agenda, we had to take things slow, and as people that are always on the go it was such a wonderful change of pace to just be with each other.

What would you do with $20,000?

We are expecting our first little baby on July 20th, if we were to win $20,000 we would put it into a fund to make sure she never has to worry about the things we did growing up. Being able to provide a life without worry for our growing family is the greatest desire we have, and I know with the love we have for each other, our children will always feel secure at home. This money would help alleviate the stress and fear that becoming new parents comes with, it would be an absolute blessing.
