How did your love story begin?

Our love story began in 2002, in the quiet charm of Waycross, Georgia, where Michael was stationed at the time. It was a time and place neither of us could’ve predicted would shape the rest of our lives, but fate brought us together. Amid the simple rhythms of small town life and long days of duty, a spark flickered to life between us steady, real, and undeniable. What started as stolen moments and deep conversations grew into a bond built on laughter, friendship, and of course love.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

There’s something profoundly beautiful about watching our children grow into the remarkable young adults they’ve become. Each milestone, each chapter adding another layer to our story. As we’ve guided them through life with love and patience, we’ve also made time to nurture our own bond, sharing countless adventures at sea. Those cruises became more than just vacations; they were floating sanctuaries where laughter echoed, worries melted away, and we rediscovered each other again and again.

With $20,000, we’d finally take care of those long overdue home repairs, bringing new life to the place where our story unfolds every day. It’s more than just fixing thing, it’s about restoring comfort, pride, and the sense of peace that only home can bring. And of course, we wouldn’t stop there. True to our tradition, we’d carve out time for another unforgettable vacation.
