From having crushes on each other in high school, we never dated and reconnected 15 years later via Facebook and it was love at 2nd chance!
You decide who wins $20,000 and appears in Variety magazine as America’s Favorite Couple
Admiring each other across the field in marching band, Dan over heard Amy say one day she didn’t date boys from this high school, so he never made a move, but that wasn’t the whole story and misunderstood. So Dan left for the Airforce and Amy moved to Colorado, only to reconnect from a post on Facebook. We started talking & thought it was true love. Dan flew out to CO to see if what he felt was true and Amy felt the same, it was true love. Dan proposed 1 month later and then they eloped.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? We have so many it’s hard to choose, but we would have to say our wedding. We didn’t tell our friends and family we secretly got married at the courthouse and had been married almost a year before we had our wedding! So when Amy was asked, are you getting cold feet? Amy laughed because she had been married for almost a year! It was a big party with the people we love and danced the night away in the beautiful Colorado Red Rock Mountains! It was so much fun!
What would you do with $20,000?We love to travel, so we would love to take a trip all around Europe and take our daughter to Disney Paris. She keeps saying she wants to eat a croissant in France. We love history and it would be cool to check out the places our ancestors came from along the way.
