Connect How did your love story begin?

In September 2023, God wove a beautiful new chapter into my life. A missions team from Roswell, New Mexico, came to serve alongside us, and among them was my husband’s cousin. They showed me his photo, and I couldn’t help but wonder, “How is this man still single?” That evening, a text message sparked a conversation that bridged the distance between Guatemala and the U.S. Within ten days of talking, my heart knew he was the answer to prayers I’d whispered as a teenager, the one!

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Among my cherished memories, one shines brightest: the first time I saw him in person. As I stepped off the plane, my heart racing, there he was, waiting at the airport. The moment our eyes met, I saw not just a man, but a beautiful soul radiating kindness and love, a reflection of the answer to my prayers. That instant, forever etched in my heart, marked the beginning of our shared journey.

We are committed to donating to Faith Seeds International to support their vital work in empowering underserved children in Guatemala. Through education, nutrition, and holistic care, this gift will help break the cycle of poverty, providing 193 children with the tools and opportunities to build brighter futures for themselves and their families.
