7th grade science class! We got introduced through mutual friends and then pretty quickly became best friends ourselves, talking on the phone everyday; I was one of the lesser cool kids that didn’t have texting yet, so he would call me every night. I had a crush on him the whole time, it was no secret, but I also valued our friendship a lot. Finally one day after school, through text (I finally got texting) he asked me to be his girlfriend.. whatever that means as 13 year olds.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Besides the births of our 2 beautiful daughters, I think we both agree the night of our engagement was one of the best nights of our lives. He proposed in Chicago, the city we both love and were surrounded by family and our closest friends. Followed by an immediate after party with Chicago style pizza on his uncles rooftop patio.
What would you do with $20,000?Honestly, we just had our second daughter 10 weeks ago and since I don’t get paid for maternity leave, we would use a chunk of it to get caught up on bills and the rest would be saved for the down payment on a house!
