On the first day of Summer in 2013 two teenage kids met their friends for a game of soccer in an empty field with old, rusted goals and missing nets in small town Ohio. After a quick coin toss for the shirts vs skins decision, we competed against each other for the first win of the summer. The kick? Neither of us played soccer. Honestly I couldn’t tell you who won the game because we exchanged numbers afterwards (score!). We didn’t know it then, but that day we won a lifetime of happiness ahead!

Fast forward 5 years, we are now college kids working multiple jobs as full time students, in Ireland with a tour group. I had my suspicions so I searched that suitcase far and wide to no avail. By the 2nd to last day of our trip my thoughts of engagement were long gone, surely he would have done it by now.. But when we arrived at our castle dinner all dressed up, he got down on one knee and made a real-life princess out of me. Our very own fairytale!

We’ve grown up together through so many life stages: high school, college, getting married, and buying our first home last year. We are currently getting ready for the next stage and trying to start a family. If we win, we would use our winnings to help create financial stability for our family, a college savings account for our child, and maybe a baby-moon ;)
