He was a single dad of 3. I was a single mom of 3. My best friend knew him well and decided to play match maker. We were both hesitant at first but it was an instant connection. Our first date was at a splash pad with all 8 of us. It was truly magical how naturally we all got along after everything we’d been through. We moved in together a month later and have created a family that heals and laughs out loud everyday since.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Definitely hosting Thanksgiving dinner for both our families. Our extended families blended together just as well as we do. Such a wholesome experience for us both. It was also a test run to see how everyone would get along at our wedding next year so it was that much more special for me to see everyone laughing and eating together.
What would you do with $20,000?First thing we’d do is build a second bathroom. 🤣 Some of it would go towards our wedding we’ve been trying to save up for. The rest would go to taking our kids on a much needed vacation !
