How did your love story begin?

Our love story began when my husband was shopping in the Richland Mall with his teammate and his teammate knew someone in the the store where I was the assistant manager. It was a Monday and I was on a ladder changing the displays. I knew the girl that my husband's friend was talking to. After they left she came over to tell me that the guy thought I was cute! I asked who he was and she said he played hockey! I said he must be in high school and I was a junior in college so I wasn't interested!

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

(Cont.) Fast forward to the weekend! It was a Friday night and I closed the store. I arrived at my sorority house at 10:30pm! Nine of my sisters were waiting for me to arrive to take them to an off campus party! We jammed the 10 of us into my Nissan Sentra stick shift and headed to the party in a snow storm. We arrived at the party which was a hotel/apartments and nobody knew which one so we knocked at the one in front of where we parked and my husband answered the door! That was 37 years ago!

What would you do with $20,000?

We would take our 3 grown children, their spouses, all our grandchildren and my mom and dad on a beach vacation! Most likely somewhere in Florida that is all inclusive and family friendly! We would enjoy conversation, fun activities, the food, the drinks and most importantly making memories together! My husband and I have done everything for our family! From working multiple jobs, to coaching hockey, cheerleading and track to making sure they had everything they needed to thrive!
