They met during the pandemic when Bri was the General Manager of a restaurant and Doug was the Regional Sales Rep for a local brewery. They had already swiped right on Tinder, and had been chatting for a couple of weeks, when he delivered a keg to her restaurant one day. They both brought the other a gift; Bri made Doug mini tarts and Doug brought her a specialty hot sauce. That night, they had pizza together at the beach and have been together ever since.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?A favorite memory is before we had said “I love you”, Doug accidentally blurted it out at the end of a phone call and immediately got flustered and hung up. It was so obvious we had already been in love, but we just hadn’t said the words yet. It finally overflowed out of him in the sweetest way which is very fitting for our relationship.
What would you do with $20,000?With $20,000 we could invest in our small business. We are just a two person operation in our second year and this would help us scale immensely. We aren’t able to pay ourselves, yet, and this would allow us to continue on our path with some more financial security. Ideally, we could move operations out of our apartment and could get our home back to enjoy our life as a newly married couple.
