We first met through friends who were dating. They are no longer together, but we are 10 years strong! It hasn't always been easy. My husband is from Jamaica, and we had to go through the long and difficult immigration process for him to become a permanent resident.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?I think one of my favorite memories is from a family vacation (my two children from my first marriage see him as a father figure). We were on our balcony at night, looking at the moon and the ocean, making up stories about mermaids and laughing. We laugh so much together. Another is from my nephew's wedding when Michael Jackson's "Beat It" came on and my husband moonwalked across the stage and the entire crowd screamed.
What would you do with $20,000?With 20K, we could pave our driveway (which is sorely needed). We live on a mountaintop, and our driveway has eroded from rain and snow. We could also pay my husband's student loan back.
