We're best friends. We love good food, film & tv, martinis, art and laughing with friends and family.
You decide who wins $20,000 and appears in Variety magazine as America’s Favorite Couple
Love at first sight sparked our story, we just weren't in the same room; or even state. In Florida for work, I spotted Cody's picture on a friend's wall and immediately asked "Who is this?!" Simultaneously, in New York, Cody saw my photo on that very friend's Facebook page, and asked the exact same thing. After a couple years of friendship, I moved to Philadelphia and we knew we were close enough to take the leap and we've never looked back.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? Our happiest memory: a snowy NYC evening just after COVID. We'd been engaged for two years and explored a quiet Central Park just before sunset. The silence, punctuated by our footsteps on crisp snow, felt surreal. Views of the snow caps meeting the city skyline were spectacular. We talked endlessly about our future and the family we'd build here. It was a moment on the brink of everything, full of hope and love.
What would you do with $20,000?We've been married now for three years and extending our family has always been our dream. We both come from large families and we're beyond excited to continue that legacy. Unfortunately for same-sex couples, having children is incredibly expensive. If we win the $20,000, it will immediately go towards having our first child together.
