Connect How did your love story begin?

We met through a friend in Middle School and started dating. We instantly fell in love and were absolutely devastated when three months later his parents moved to PA to be closer to family. We decided our love was worth the distance and would skype/facetime everyday. So we did, throughout all of High-school. We were fortunate for the 1-2 weeks a year we could fly back and forth to see each-other. Finally after 4 years of distance, after High-school graduation, Austin moved back.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Here comes the cliché answer: our wedding day. It was an absolute dream. We got married in 2020, 8 years after we started dating. So we battled COVID, long distance, & more to make our dreams come true. Our wedding day was our favorite memory because every person we love came in to be with us. (From PA and FL) It felt like all of the sacrifices we made from 14-18 years old were finally worth it and now I get to live everyday with the love of my life.

What would you do with $20,000?

We are the proud owners of two super cute Golden Retrievers. Unfortunately our oldest doggie, Milo, has severe hip dysplasia and arthritis in both hips. He is only 4 and struggles to walk/run/sit/stand. The treatment for him is a total hip replacement which is quite pricy. We just got his left hip replacement (literally 4 days ago as i’m typing this) and it is a long recovery. So, the 20,000 would aid in the expense for this surgery and for his right hip replacement down the line.
