Parker and I met through tinder, he had just started meeting people and I was ready to be done. I told myself that I would meet Parker for a date and then be done with the app. That is exactly what happened but not in the way I expected. We went rock climbing the first time we met up, our second date was to coffee. We talked for a long time, I told him about myself and put my baggage out in the open figuring it would scare him off. He asked me out to a movie after and have been together since.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Jumping on Parker in the airport when he came home from an eight month deployment in Afghanistan where we had limited contact. Nothing compares to that feeling. He’s home, he’s safe, we’re together and nothing else mattered.
What would you do with $20,000?We would take a vacation and put the rest in savings. The last time we did a trip with just the two of us was in 2020. We had a lot happen between now and then and things have calmed down enough that we can finally take some time to recharge.
