We had friends in common. That’s how we met. It didn’t go well the first few times. I thought he was a snob. He thought I had a big mouth.(He was right!) We ended up at the same party at Thanksgiving and it must have been the drinks or something but we had the best time together. We started dating and were married 9 months later. It wasn’t easy. He lived 3 hours away. Finishing up his bachelor’s degree and I had a son and a job at home. He drove home every weekend and we never looked back.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?My most favorite memory is when my love would pick me up from work with the canoe on top of the truck. I knew that meant a six pack and a relaxing evening of fishing. It was so perfect.After a long day for both of us to just sit and talk and catch some fish. It was heaven.
What would you do with $20,000?We have a HUGE family. With it comes a huge 300 year old house that needs updating. Especially for our special needs kiddos. We have kids in college that we would love to help with expenses that their scholarships don’t cover, and we would love to take a big family vacation. We can only go to places that are close right now. It’s so expensive to take 12 kids anywhere! Our ever growing family is our life. We just want to make it amazing for all of them. And us.
