I flat out refused to date my now husband Sean for years until comedy and circles of friends made it impossible to avoid each other.
We would like to thank you for supporting The Beerings in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
We were friends of friends and started doing improv comedy together. On stage and off stage, we would flirt and dance around the possibility of being together. Closer and closer, we circled until the attraction (and frequently rolled eyes at my resistance) shattered any excuses. We spent a night together after watching RDJ’s “Sherlock Holmes” and the fire was officially kindled.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?We aren’t able to have kids so we “adopt” younger friends that we love and encourage, usually kiddos that Sean as a bartender works with or serves. Between the two of us, bartender Sean and nurse Rachael, we became the go to people for these kids and the best memory is when they started calling us mom and dad.
What would you do with $20,000?We were able to buy our cute little 1930’s home a year ago but are still working on doing a number of large repairs. We also have a number of related and non related nieces and nephews that we would love to start college or trade school scholarships for. Maybe use what’s left over to buy a very small island. Preferably inflatable.
