How did your love story begin?

We were 13 years old. I was at a new school. Luis was shy and couldn't approach me so he had his friends tell me he had an interest in talking to me. We started to spend more time with each other in school and out of school. My mother was a pediatric home health nurse at the time. Luis and I would pretend her patient was our child. We both ended up going to different school and lost touch. 8.5 years later we reconnected. While spending time together as adults we knew nothing else mattered.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

With as many years we've spent trying to find each other and the amount of years we've been able to spend together it's hard to pick one. But if I could pick I would say all of our firsts. The first time me teaching him how to drive a standard transmission vehicle. Finding out we were expecting our first child. Buying our first home. Picking the songs for our first dance. He picked "NO ONE" by Alicia Keys. I picked "UNFORGETTABLE" by Nat King Cole with his daughter singing the duet.

What would you do with $20,000?

We would love to finish the renovations to our first home so we can finally plan the trip to Europe we've been dreaming about. Italy, Spain, France.
