How did your love story begin?

Our story began kind of ironically, we met at a networking group we were apart of where I was a member & she was the president. We both weren’t fans of one another at first until we started spending more time together, learning about our businesses, our lives, etc. & then it just grew from there.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

I’m not sure about her favorite memory, but mine is when we took a spur of the moment trip within a trip. We went to Boston to visit family and we at the last minute decided to see the ball drop in Times Square. That’s when I proposed.. she turned around at the end of the count looking up for me and I was on my knee and she was shocked. It was her first time in New York & our first time seeing the ball drop; it definitely was the best experience of my life doing it with the woman I love.

What would you do with $20,000?

As cliche as it sounds, we would put a good portion of it to our community. We live in an area surrounded by so many different small businesses & nonprofits that are struggling. One of the turning points in our relationship was volunteering after we had 2 back to back hurricanes in the area, so we are both deeply rooted in our community & bettering it. After using a small portion for a honeymoon we never got to have we’d definitely go around town brightening peoples day.
