We met working at a restaurant after college. A fast friendship turned into love, and we moved in together six months later. Years (and two kids) into our ten-year marriage, we’ve faced unimaginable challenges, including both of our children being diagnosed with a rare terminal genetic disease. Through it all, our love has only grown. We’re teammates, best friends, and still choosing joy, and each other, every single day.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?The birth of our two beautiful babies of course! Even knowing now the challenges that would lay ahead, those moments remain the most sacred for us. Our incredible kids have shaped us into the people we are today- stronger, more compassionate, and deeply bonded by love.
What would you do with $20,000?We plan on gifting a family in need $1,000 and the rest would be used toward much-needed home renovations to make our house more accessible for our two growing children, who are both in wheelchairs. From widening doorways to adding ramps and adapting bathrooms, these updates would allow our kids to move through their home with more safety, comfort, and dignity as they continue to grow.
