We were friends for about 8 years before we actually decided to be a couple! 11 years of marriage later and it was the best decision ever.
You decide who wins $20,000 and appears in Variety magazine as America’s Favorite Couple
We started off as friends in college both on the basketball team. We continued our friendship for over 8 years. He went off to college across the country and we just continued to stay in contact. He claims to have chased me for 8 years and I finally gave in and beyond grateful that I did!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? When we got married we couldn’t afford a wedding and just did the courthouse wedding with the reception at Buca de Beppo. We decided to have a vow renewal at 10 years in Jamaica. We agreed friends only but he surprised me and had my dad there to walk me down the aisle. Everyone cried ugly tears but was a beautiful moment.
What would you do with $20,000?We would like to start a non profit helping underprivileged kids get into sports to keep them off the street and out of trouble. I would love to be able to mentor these children and have a positive impact. We both love sports and this has always been a dream of ours. I mean they don’t call us the love and basketball couple for no reason!
