At first, I (Jordan) thought she (Madeline) didn't like me because she kept walking away when we were talking. We became friends when she started organizing political action meetings. In the process of trying to figure out if she was queer, I made a vague social media post: "Creeping on someone's Facebook to see what genders they're interested in and feeling extra creepy when it doesn't say." She liked the post and did not update her profile.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?We marched in the Pride parade in 2018. It was a horribly long hot day. After the parade, Madeline insisted our whole group should get a picture in front of the big PRIDE sign. We stood in line for half an hour. Once the group picture was done, she said she wanted one of the two of us. I automatically struck a normal pose, but Madeline said "Actually I had something else in mind" and got on one knee.
